We are looking for a talented Associate Creative Director to support our client's Creative Studio in concept development and execution for marketing and brand campaigns that will translate across multiple channels, including paid media, site, email, and in-store activations.
In this role, the Associate Creative Director will oversee a team of Art Directors and designers-providing guidance and direction on their day-to-day work. They will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to ensure alignment between the overarching marketing strategy and the execution of 360-degree activations or style guides. The role requires conceptual and stylistic leadership through the creation of layouts, mockups, and pitch decks to communicate ideas effectively within the team.
This position works collaboratively with other team leads, both within creative and cross-functionally, and focuses primarily on Consumables (Personal Care, Pet, Baby, Household Essentials, Wellness) along with food and grocery service campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver and conceptual thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and exhibit outstanding design judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement creative vision across all user touchpoints (owned & paid).
- Lead and ideate on 360° concept development, strategy, and design across all channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, site operations, integrated strategy, and external agencies to ensure creative cohesion at every touchpoint.
- Develop creative leadership and marketing pitch decks to gain alignment and set the team up for success.
- Manage the growth and development of 2+ Art Directors and a team of designers.
- Attend photoshoots as needed.
- Design assets and brand campaigns as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (online portfolio required).
- 10+ years of professional design experience in advertising, e-commerce, and production.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Microsoft Office, and Figma.
- Strong understanding of responsive/adaptive design.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with diligent follow-through.
- Exceptional written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- In-house and agency experience.
- Photo art direction experience, ideally in the food/lifestyle space.
- Understanding of the print process and mechanicals.
