We are looking for a Creative Operations Leader who can lead an account management team and build relationships with internal and external partners and customers. You’re a leader and a fantastic people manager. You’ve got a mile-long list of client successes. Leadership is paramount to this role: “Accounts” serves as the glue connecting marketing, creative, production & media teams to ensure timely, cost-effective & on-target delivery of campaigns. This includes coordinating resources needed to service projects. Building strategic operational plans. Balancing the expectations of marketing, retail and media agencies with the execution of creative work. Evaluating & onboarding agency, vendor & talent support to meet evolving & future business requirements.

Creative Operations Leader Responsibilities: 
  • Represent marketing, business and media requirements within the creative team, ensuring that campaigns support the strategy/KPIs
  • Provide consistent and ongoing communication across functional teams, keeping teams aligned & aware of goals, shifts in strategy, deadlines, deliverables, etc.
  • Connect creative teams with industry &campaign data, insights &best practices to help shape and inform creative work
  • Organize & drive the big-picture flow of work, setting goals, leading meetings & coordinating with cross-functional partners
  • Monitor & report on operational effectiveness & process changes needed to improve performance & outcomes
  • Solve problems, develop contingency plans, & work across marketing, business, media, & creative teams to pivot the work as needed
  • Manage vendors
  • Develop overall mission, values, and vision for the Account Management team
  • Oversee the relationships with all external creative, media and talent agencies
  • Represent the internal creative agency
  • Implement strategies to Increase NPS for the internal creative agency, and develop other KPIs to evaluate performance of the function
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to help maximize efficiencies
  • Use creativity to solve client communications challenges, resolve service delivery issues and improve productivity
  • Develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicate goals and objectives, build accountability and measure progress, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning and improvement
  • Advocate for Account Management team with cross-functional partners to help ensure the team gets the information required to successfully do their jobs
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for Senior Account Manager and Account Managers via training, workshops, constructive feedback, assignments, support and recognition
Creative Operations Leader Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years experience in the Account Management field or related role
  • At least 5 years experience in management
  • Outstanding written & oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • Significant experience in relationship & expectations management
  • Ability to plan & strategize at a senior level
  • Background in advertising, design or marketing
  • Full awareness of creative process & production techniques (including digital)
  • A problem solver, a go-getter, and a leader by nature
  • Successfully navigate change & ambiguity
  • Experience working on large/enterprise brand campaigns
  • Brand marketing and creative strategy experience
  • Experience in retail is recommended
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be highly organized, detail oriented and be able to prioritize workload
  • Experience working with executives in a creative/marketing environment
