Compensation Range: $80,000 - 90,000 per year
Join our client's dynamic team as a Production Support specialist in Plano, TX.
We are seeking a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of our client's production systems. The ideal is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.
- Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Plan team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
- Manage stakeholders and external interfaces.
- Set up tools and required infrastructure.
- Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
- Review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques and fix code bugs.
- Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimizing waste.
- Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
- Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessments and risk management.
- Manage incident management and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.
- Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs.
- Manage periodic reporting on progress to management and customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors (required)
- 3+ years of project work experience, with cloud experience and certifications being advantageous (AWS specifically preferred).
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python.
- Working knowledge of databases like MongoDB and SQL.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborative team spirit.
