Associate Communication Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (CST business hours)
Job Type: Mon-Fri, 9 AM-5 PM (40 hrs/week)
Compensation Range: $23-28/hr (W2)

We're seeking a detail-oriented and creative Associate Communication Specialist to support the development and execution of custom communication strategies for a diverse client base. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong writing, editing, and project coordination skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duration: Through December (with potential to extend or convert)

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior team members in creating and delivering tailored communications.
• Attend client meetings, track deliverables, and support presentation prep.
• Write, edit, and proof internal and external communication materials.
• Manage editorial calendars, timelines, and project workflows.
• Ensure brand and style consistency across all content.
• Collaborate with designers and upload final content to internal platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat and Workfront/ProofHQ are a plus.
• 2-3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with various content formats (emails, flyers, presentations, microsites).
• Must have your own, reliable laptop to use.

This is a remote role aligned to CST hours with opportunity for growth and long-term potential.
