Compensation Range: $53 - 57 per hour

We’re seeking an Internal and Employee Communications Manager for a six-month maternity leave cover. In this key role, you’ll develop and execute communication strategies that drive employee engagement, promote a positive workplace culture, and align teams with the company’s goals and values. Acting as a vital link between leadership and employees, you’ll ensure clear, consistent, and impactful communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Communication Strategy Development

  • Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans that support our "always on" communication efforts across HR, Legal, Product and Brand.
  • Develop and manage engaging communications for employees globally on behalf of leadership, especially as it relates to our enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Maintain and update communication policies and procedures.

Employee Engagement

  • Create programs and initiatives aligned with our priority brand stories that promote employee involvement and morale.
  • Organize and manage events such as town halls, panel discussions or other events.
  • Develop surveys and feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Analyze feedback and implement changes to improve communication and engagement.

Content Creation and Management

  • Write, edit, and publish engaging content for various internal platforms.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with the company's brand and values.
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of critical company updates and announcements.

Leadership Communication Support

  • Assist executives and managers in developing effective communication strategies.
  • Provide training and resources to improve leadership communication skills.
  • Draft talking points, presentations, and other communication materials for senior leaders.

Qualifications:
Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in communication are a plus.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret feedback and data.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Experience working with senior-level executives.
  • Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Skills:

  • Strong background in communications (HR comm, legal comm , strategy communications).
  • Someone who's worked in a global role, lots of event communications, DEI comms experience, & manager communications.
  • Experience with email management tools, intranet, & CMS.
  • The ability to support on all hands meetings, live events, and is comfortable speaking to leadership.
  • Experience working with a complex organization.
