Compensation Range: $30-37 per hour
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter/Copy Editor to produce and refine compelling content for our insurance client's marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in writing and editing, as well as experience in the insurance sector (preferably commercial insurance). You will play a key role in ensuring that content is clear, persuasive and aligned with our brand voice.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write engaging and informative copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, brochures, and whitepapers.
- Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Correct grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.
- Industry Expertise: Utilize knowledge of the commercial insurance industry to create relevant and insightful content that resonates with our target audience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, product managers and subject matter experts to develop content that supports our marketing strategies and business goals.
- Research: Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
- Brand Voice and Standards: Understand brand voice and uphold brand standards across all communications.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting and editing experience, preferably in the commercial insurance industry or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
