Compebsation Range: $40.00 - 46.67 per hour
Cella is looking for a copywriter for our large retail beauty client. As a copywriter much of the work will focus on digital, but you will have the opportunity to work on print and in-store deliverables. You will be expected to become the brand's voice quickly and you will review review copy provided by our brand partners for digital ads and content, and edit them into the brand's voice as needed.
You'll also support the Editorial Manager in top editing copy from other copywriters on the team. Finally, you'll support the writing team by writing new content for email, landing pages, social, and/or print and in-store as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Copy edit brand partner digital ads and content to ensure consistency of our brand voice
- Abide by and contribute to the style guide
- Assist the Editorial Manager in oversight of copy from external partners on a project basis
- Write to other deliverables across channels as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in retail and/or editorial
- Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize strategic messages into consumer-friendly copy
- Ability to receive and respond to feedback in order to pivot when necessary
- Previous experience in content agencies, in-house agencies, or publishing desired
