Compensation Range: $38-46/hr
We are seeking a Multimedia Specialist to support our retail client's video content for an upcoming tradeshow. This is a project based role offering full-time hours starting ASAP through February 14, 2025.
The Multimedia Specialist will play a dual role, focusing primarily on video editing while also assisting with occasional shooting responsibilities. This position requires a versatile skill set to create high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the company's brand.
Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing (Primary Focus - 70-80% of Role):
- Edit a variety of video content, including sizzle reels, B-roll display videos, and brand-aligned storytelling pieces.
- Utilize tools such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects for editing and motion graphics, with occasional color grading using DaVinci Resolve.
- Work closely with creative direction to bring the vision to life, handling revisions and delivering content under tight deadlines.
2. Shooting Support (Secondary Focus - 20-30% of Role):
- Assist in shooting short-form content, such as talking head videos with company leaders and senior executives, typically at the company's store/support center.
- Set up and tear down shooting equipment, including Red, Blackmagic, and Sony cameras, aperture lighting, and boom/lapel mics.
- Collaborate in a corporate/in-house environment to ensure high-quality production, while maintaining professionalism during shoots.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Around 5 years of relevant video editing experience, ideally in corporate settings or similar events.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve; Red, Blackmagic, and Sony cameras. Experience with high-end cameras and lighting setups is a must.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing high-energy, visually engaging videos and storytelling expertise.
- Corporate Expertise: Experience working with large corporations, adhering to brand guidelines, and producing polished content.
- Agency Background (Preferred): Prior experience in an agency setting is a plus, offering valuable exposure to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
