Compensation Range: $50 - 60 per hour
We're looking for an experienced Senior Experience Design Lead to join our client's team on a contract basis in NYC! In this role, you will take charge of designing and delivering comprehensive user experiences across key product areas. Your work will span from initial concept through research, design, testing, and final production.
The ideal candidate is a passionate designer who values the impact of their work, has a keen understanding of user needs, and enjoys both the design process and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute experience strategies that integrate user needs with business goals for assigned products.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to discuss product vision, roadmaps, and requirements.
- Create and structure omnichannel experiences that enhance overall product functionality.
- Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs based on research insights.
- Develop product-specific experience visions and contribute to broader organizational design strategies.
- Work with design associates to prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Present design work and strategies to cross-functional teams and senior executives.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful products.
- A portfolio highlighting advanced Interaction Design skills, with additional expertise in Visual Design, Information Architecture, or Service Design.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Technical teams.
- Experience presenting work to senior leadership and working autonomously.
