Senior Mobile App Designer (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $55 - 65 per hour

We are looking for a talented Senior Mobile App Designer to collaborate with Designers, Engineers, Researchers, and Product Managers to create compelling UX solutions for connected audio products. In this role, you'll design seamless experiences for on-product interfaces and mobile apps, maintain a design system, and develop user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Writers, and Product Managers to deliver compelling UX solutions for connected audio products.
• Utilize user research and advanced technologies to design seamless experiences for on-product interfaces and mobile app platforms.
• Maintain and enhance a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across reusable design patterns and assets.
• Create user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, screen flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Monitor and communicate project status effectively.
• Manage workloads and adhere to tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in UX design, preferably with a large consumer electronics brand.
• Portfolio: Demonstrates the ability to create concepts and map detailed customer journeys.
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Strong proficiency in Figma for prototyping.
  • Solid design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, and spatial design.
  • Familiarity with connectivity technologies like Bluetooth and WiFi.
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms, including iOS and Android (preferred).
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Zeplin, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Capability to explore and adopt new design tools.
• Soft Skills:
  
  • Strong focus on detail, organization, and clear communication.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • A collaborative attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Motivation to produce high-quality deliverables and continuously improve them.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously on complex projects with minimal supervision.
