We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist on a long-term contract! This role will have a hybrid schedule, and our client is looking for someone in the Bridgewater, NJ, area. The SEO Specialist will work closely with the brand marketing teams and their agency partners to develop and drive SEO strategies that maximize growth opportunities for a portfolio of GI products. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be expected to provide insights into digital best practices, contribute to high-level strategic search and content initiatives, and continuously quantify, analyze and report on the impact of those efforts. 

Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Performing keyword research and pinpointing key insights across all online assets
  • Deriving insights from ongoing SEO monitoring of the competitive set
  • Identifying and and implementing SEO strategies for new site builds, as well as redesigns and updates of existing assets
  • Working with internal IT team to audit web sites and implement technical SEO changes 
  • Leading in the development of campaign optimization recommendations, with the goal of decreasing dependency on paid media that results in low-quality audiences and lackluster engagement
  • Overseeing ongoing SERP analysis on critical search terms
  • Supporting annual brand planning initiatives with relevant SEO research, outcomes analysis and actionable insights, specifically informing SEM efforts as a strongly interwoven channel 
  • Supporting the digital marketing lead on related initiatives that build to an internal digital experience Center of Excellence

Digital Marketing Specialist Qualifications:

  • Proven SEO experience developing and executing effective SEO roadmaps
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
  • Deep experience with website analytics and SEO/SEM tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and experience distilling findings and presenting recommendations to internal stakeholders with a wide range of subject knowledge
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing and developing dynamic, personalized online content experiences 
  • Working knowledge of Episerver/Optimizely a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing highly desired
