Interested in a Social Media Coordinator position? Our client, a large non for profit organization is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to join their team! This a new embedded team within a well established marketing and creative department. The Social Media Coordinator will be joining a team of content strategists and producers who work to create compelling and engaging social media content. The goal of this position is to expand the visibility of our clients mission while promoting digital best practices to engage with new audiences. 

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Ability to craft compelling content that maintains a corporate voice
  • Hands-on work with social media management and intelligence tools (experience with Khoros/Spreadfast preferred)
  • Experience with pulling and analyzing social media metrics, in-platform (specifically Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram) and using a management tool)
  • Ability to work with designers and videographers on creative for social media and digital campaigns
  • Confidence to project manage and interact with internal stakeholders and external digital agency partners
  • Experience setting up, optimizing and reporting on paid social media campaigns – specifically Twitter and LinkedIn promotions.
  • Experience working with media buyers or external digital agencies on paid promotions
  • Understanding of marketing practices in a digital environment

Social Media Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Creativity
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good instincts and judgement about social media content for a corporate/business channel
  • Willingness/ability to learn new subject matter and technologies quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Patience and a positive, customer-friendly attitude
  • Ability to adapt and shift gears quickly and easily
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently
