Job Title: Team Lead, Content Steward

Type: Freelance / Contract
We are looking for a Team Lead, Content Steward who can provide operational and organizational leadership and support to the Content Steward team. For this FT, Salaried opportunity, this person will be acting as a champion of recognized and established internal processes, procedures, and policies. This person will ensure the Content Stewards are managing resources accurately and completely throughout the PromoMats approval process from creation to AFD including ensuring all appropriate referencing and documentation are included in alignment with standards as well as troubleshooting functional-related challenges and coach and mentor team members. The Team Lead, Content Steward will function as the organizational ambassador for their PromoMats and regulatory knowledge and apply expertise to support our organization's vision and strategic direction. Qualified candidate must be able to travel on-site (located in Upper Gwynedd, PA).

Team Lead, Content Steward Responsibilities: 

  • Provides guidance and oversight to the Content Stewards to ensure all projects are executed accurately and effectively
  • Serves as the initial point of escalation for DET team members for content steward–related issues
  • Develops and leads implementation of content steward best practices, including processes, guidelines, policies, workflows, and procedures, and monitors to ensure they are followed
  • Researches, organizes, and disseminates relevant information to the team, including remaining current on all corporate policies and procedures to ensure team compliance
  • Demonstrates a real sense of caring for the team’s professional and personal well-being
  • Encourages a positive, nurturing, and professional culture that values and is committed to excellence and continuous improvement
  • Drives development, coordination, communication, and adoption of processes and procedures
  • Reviews team members’ work to ensure it is completed accurately
  • Regularly and proactively monitors workflow to instill a mindset of continuous improvement and ensure potential issues are identified prior to impacting clients
  • Creates response plans to address organization gaps and evolving business needs
  • Ensures client satisfaction at all times through seeking continuous feedback
  • Gathers, analyzes, and reports on organization metrics to senior management and clients 
Staff Management and Resourcing
  • Responsible for staffing plans and resource allocation
  • Recruits, interviews, onboards, and trains new team members
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops team members including proactively addressing team members’ performance issues and provides appropriate feedback

Team Lead, Content Steward Requirements: 
  • In-depth understanding of PromoMats regulatory approval process
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with AMA guidelines for referencing
  • Understands how to annotate and anchor tactics accurately
  • Strong understanding of design (Assembler) and content management (PromoMats) tools
  • Ability to help conceptualize the channel storyline for campaign development
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and works effectively across all levels of management
  • Proactive, decisive, adept at crisis management, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
  • BA/BS preferred
  • Fluent in PromoMats
  • Minimum 5 years content management/editorial experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Management experience preferred
