Compensation Range: $30 - 40 per hour
Our client is looking for a talented User Experience Designer (who is experienced with hardware devices that connect to mobile app interfaces via Bluetooth/wifi) to join their team!
In this role, you will play a key role in the early stages of product development, from ideation to launch. Your expertise in design thinking and interaction skills will be crucial in creating compelling experiences that delight our customers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate has experience creating seamless and delightful user experiences utilizing Bluetooth connectivity functions and features and a strong background in hardware and software/mobile UX
To be considered, candidates must be proficient in Figma.
This role is onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays in the Framingham, MA office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Writers and Product Managers to create unified end-to-end product experiences.
- Creatively solve problems through design, simplifying complexity, and creating elegant user experiences that delight customers.
- Understand and balance the priorities of internal stakeholders, engineers, and business needs.
- Implement a systems-wide design approach, understanding the holistic product vision.
- Manage workload and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Entry Level
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Design or a design-related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant UX experience, preferably within a large consumer electronics brand.
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating concepts and detailing the customer journey, with a focus on hardware interaction experience for consumer products.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Miro, JAMA, JIRA, and Creative Cloud.
- Proven ability to explore and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Motivated to consistently deliver high-quality work and continuously improve.
