Compensation Range: $58 - 65 per hour
We’re looking for a User Experience (UX) Architect to design and plan user-centered experiences across digital products and interfaces. In this role, you’ll drive UX strategy and collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to turn business goals and user needs into intuitive, impactful solutions.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days per week onsite in Atlanta, GA
Working Hours: 9am-5pm EST
Responsibilities:
- Interaction Design:
Interaction design is the design of interactive products and services that enable clients to achieve their objectives in the best way possible. Understanding clients' pain points, goals, motivations, and context empowers designers to deliver experiences that align with user needs. - Visual Design:
Visual design focuses on the aesthetics of a product, including elements like colors, typography, and images. - Product Thinking:
Product thinking is a problem-solving methodology for developing valuable solutions for user problems. It examines how users, technology, and business goals intersect to deliver products that benefit customers while generating a positive return on investment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile Product Teams to ensure successful product experience design and positioning.
- Oversee UI/UX implementation of digital products and experiences.
- Deliver user-centered, competitive, and intuitive designs that meet both customer and business outcomes.
- Translate user requirements into end-to-end product flows and journeys.
- Create wireframes, interaction designs, prototypes, and visual design specifications.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM development cycles to deliver industry-leading digital products.
- Continuously advocate for user needs and identify opportunities for experience improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline (e.g., Web Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture, Information Architecture) preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience (non-academic), with at least one year in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of UX best practices, interaction design, information architecture, and visual systems.
- Familiarity with design thinking processes, workshop facilitation, and co-creation practices.
- Understanding of web architecture, usability principles, and digital business needs.
- Proficiency in design/prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, InVision, Abstract, or similar.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and manage workload.
