We are working with a national non-profit, who has the need for a UX/UI Designer to join their team. This position will be responsible for building-out of a cohesive style guide and components library, ensuring that a consistent visual language is applied across of the suite of products.

UX/UI Designer Responsibilities:
- Bring a consistent design language to the creation of new UI components, building on existing design patterns
- Use responsive design to produce components that work well on a variety of screen sizes, including mobile devices
- Build new symbols and icons in Sketch and maintain/improve the organization of existing Sketch libraries
- Review relevant user feedback (i.e. from user testing of a product) and make updates to styles and/or components as indicated
- Review front-end development progress for design fidelity and log findings in JIRA
- Help advise product development teams on the best components to use (i.e. tabs versus accordions) and create screen mockups as-needed
UX/UI Designer Requirements:
- Experience presenting to clients is a plus
- 4 plus years of hands on Sketch experience
- Strong understanding of front-end development processes
- Experience with JIRA
- Assist in drafting/grooming functional requirements
