We are seeking a talented Photo/Asset Coordinator to join our client's team!

As a Photo/Asset Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in managing our client's photo department and coordinating various photography projects, including a large annual event that requires travel within California. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

The position will be hybrid, with some days working from our client's office in Glendale and others remotely.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multiple photographer schedules in a high-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliverables.
  • Ingest and track incoming photo requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Provide input on workflow optimization to enhance efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Schedule and dispatch photographers during large events, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Create and manage assets using a variety of tools, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Box, Smartsheet, internal servers, and calendars.
  • Assist in maintaining internal image libraries, and organizing and categorizing assets for easy access.
  • Source and provide adjacent teams with images as needed, collaborating closely to meet project requirements.
  • Track deadlines and manage deliverables, communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Previous experience working in a photo department, ideally in a corporate or entertainment setting.
  • Strong aptitude for coordinating multiple photographer schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of photography principles, including lighting, composition, DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, editing, and retouching.
  • Proficiency with photo editing software such as Photomechanic, as well as other digital technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
