Compensation Range: $170,000 - 205,000 per year
Our manufacturing client in Larimar County, Colorado is hiring a VP, Sales and Marketing on a full-time/permanent basis!
This role will act as a growth agent for the entire company, from leading full-funnel marketing strategy, overseeing sales operations and ensuring product teams are meeting the evolving needs of their clients (which include impressive global logos). Qualified candidates should bring 10-15+ years of B2B Growth Marketing experience, specifically from manufacturing/aerospace/defense.
This role is a permanent position with a Larimar, Colorado-based team that will require some local & domestic travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive Sales & Marketing and Program Management functions to achieve company growth goals.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and execute effective business strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Foster strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Implement best practices in project planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Develop and grow the brand through effective marketing strategies and channel/partner initiatives.
- Align new pursuits and internal development with customer requirements and product line growth objectives.
- Oversee customer-specific quotes and support plant management with product output to customer specifications.
- Attend and/or hold regular status meetings with key stakeholders and effectively communicate relevant information.
- Establish a robust succession plan for key roles, including your own.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Executive
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Program Management, and/or Marketing in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
- Strong technical understanding of machining and manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering excellent results.
- Ability to inspire trust, loyalty, and respect and empower people to achieve great results.
- Hands-on and 'can do' attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive in improving efficiency and leading change.
